What is Pokémon?
Pokémon are fictional creatures that people catch, train, and battle with in Pokémon battles. The word “Pokémon” is a short for “Pokémon monsters”. Each Pokémon has unique abilities and can evolve into stronger forms. People who can and play with Pokémon are called trainers. These trainers use special tools that called poke balls. Pokémon appears in video games, TV shows, movi/es and trading cards.
Pokémon history
Pokémon was launched on February 27, 1996, by Nintendo, Game Freak, and Creatures. It was created by Satoshi Tajiri, a Japanese video game designer, who was inspired by his childhood interest in collecting creatures and his love for nature. The franchise was initially launched in Japan with the release of Pokémon Red and Green for the Game Boy.
Starter Pokémons
Starter Pokémon, or first partner Pokémon, are the Pokémon chosen by trainers at the beginning of their journey in the game. These Pokémon serve as companions in the early stages of the game. in most Pokémon games, new players can choose one Pokémon from three available options. These starter Pokémon are typically of the grass, water, or fire types. In the 9th generation of Pokémon, there are approximately 27 starter Pokémon available across all generations from 1 to 9.
Starter Pokémon are the companions for every beginner player in Pokémon games, so it’s crucial to choose them wisely. Each starter Pokémon has strengths and weaknesses that depend on the types of opponents faced. At the start of the game, most Pokémon games allow players to choose their starter Pokémon. Some of the games where players can select their starter Pokémon include Pokémon Yellow, Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu!, Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!, Pokémon Red, Green, Blue, FireRed, and LeafGreen.

Starter Pokémon Generator
For instance, let me demonstrate how I generated random starter Pokémon from our Pokémon Generator.
Let’s say I want to generate starter Pokémon from the 6th generation, so I selected “6th” from the generation dropdown menu. Then, I checked the checkbox for “starter” and clicked on “generate.” This tool showed me 3 available starter Pokémon from the 6th generation, as you can see below in the image.
I got these three: Chespin (Type: Grass), Froakie (Water-type), and Fennekin (Fire-type).
